Condition: Great condition with some age related markings to the paper. Minartz painted Parisian and Monaco life and society, and landscapes of South of France and Côte-d’Azur. Minart'z beautiful paintings ranged from St-Tropez and Cannes, Nice and Monaco, and extending even to Venice.
He was most known for his interpretations of Parisian life, of the Belle Époque through to the excesses of the 1930s. Tony Minartz had an exhibitions from 1896 to 1914, most notably at the prestigious Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts.
Minartz became an associate member in 1901. Minartz is shown in public collections including in the British Museum, London, Saint Petersburg, Hermitage Museum, Museum in Cannes, Reims Museum of Fine Arts, and Orsay Museum in Paris.
